I DIG DUG is an insanely hilarious comic created by the insanenly hilarious Douglas Weller. I DIG DUG first saw print in "Tne Lantern", The Ohio State University daily newspaper, from 1999-2001. IDD also saw print in "The Hometown Connection", Marysville, Ohio's weekly newspaper from 2006-2009. Currently, IDD is on hiatus while I concentrate on "Lost on Earth" which I'm designing as a web-comic. Syndication, action figures, cartoons, and a live action movie deal can't be too far behind.

"Dude, Where's My Blue Car"
Easiest....comic....to color....EVER!!! I may have to do more 'snowy' comics during the winter. See you next week!
Ashtyn, have you been hibernating? He's outside. After there's been a TON of snow and EVERYTHING is absolutely covered! Those big mounds of snow MIGHT be hiding his car, or they might just be big piles of snow. The point is, there's SO much snow, he has no idea where anything is at. As for the idea of a new character...well...it's kind of tough to introduce new characters to a comic that sees print once a week. I kind of have to stick with Dug, Matt, and Carrie. There are a few comics that will feature 'new' characters, but those three are the main focus of the comic. I know...you're just hoping for an "Ashtyn" character, right?
i knew he was supposed to be outside... but i wasn't sure where he would have been that there was that much snow, i mean where does "dug" live??? And yes i have been hoping for an ashtyn character, with some freakin sweet superpowers, but i guess i will have to wait until you realize that, that is what the comic is missing. SUPERASHTYN sounds pretty cool or THE BEST SUPERHERO ALIVE.
Hmmmm...."SuperAshtyn", huh? Hmmmm....that gives me an idea. Keep your eyes peeled, but be patient. I'm working on comics for April now, and I may just have something in mind... Also, when are you planning on drawing a comic for me? I'll gladly publish it in the paper if you'll simply sit down and draw it!!!
UMMMMMM..... I don't know when I will draw a comic. I will start to gather my ideas tonight, and maybe i will come up with one( and maybe not) who knows??? AND YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS superashtyn sounds shweet. I will keep a look out for my character. P.S Where in the heck does "dug" live?

I have to go to one of my friends b-day parties, but I can try to go to both if I can!.!.!.!.!.!.!. So are you going to be at the art show??????? Anyway I would really like it if you would tell me where "Dug" lives already!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Sheesh, Ash...stop yelling at me! "Dug" lives on the campus of an unnamed college university with "Matt", and "Carrie". They're 'seniors' in college, with no graduation date in site. I'll keep 'em in college forever as long as I can keep writing the stories. Yes, I know all about your artwork. I really liked it!!! I hope that you can make it to the show to see your artwork all framed and "purty". Have a good week!!!
