For those of you new to I DIG DUG, here's a brief explanation for what you are seeing. This is an example of art imitating life. My "Dug" character has created a comic strip titled "The Adventures of Not-So-Super-Man" which he hopes to publish one day. This mimics my own personal ambitions of publishing I DIG DUG...which I guess is technically a published comic in The Hometown Connection. So...what you're seeing here is a copy of Dug's comic. From left to right you'll see, Not-S0-Super-Man, The Pirate Captain from last year's Halloween comics, Very-S0-Super-Nerd, Snorkel Guy, Flatman, SUPERASHTYN (more on her later this week!), Mr. T (I pity da foo!), a guy in a Pop Tart costume, and an alien from the I DIG DUG BIG BOOK OF FUN which is currently being finished (more on that this summer). Enjoy and I'll have lots more info on this comic on Friday....well...probably more like Saturday. There's a TON of "firsts" in this here comic and I need more time to share it all with you.
