"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CARRIE"

I began to post this comic on Monday, but it didn't feel right because Monday wasn't today and today is CARRIE'S BIRTHDAY...YAY!!!! Carrie's turning her infinite '23' in today's comic as the characters are infinitely in their senior year of college. Oddly enough, I've never done a comic featuring Carrie's birthday. I think I did one for Matt a long time ago, but if I recall...it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'll probably draw up a new one for him next January.
Anyway, this comic is a great example of showing who these characters really are. How? Well...it's just another day where Carrie knows EXACTLY whats going on, but plays along just to humor Dug and Matt. It's a theme that I've played with...well...since I started the comic way back in 1999. She knows those are trick candles. And she knows the guys are 'fibbing' to her, yet she goes along with it. And, of course, Dug and Matt think they've pulled one on her and laugh it up.
