So...it's Dug's birthday. AND...he's still stuck in that bunny costume! HAHAHA!!! I'm sorry...I just really think that's a funny visual. Is it getting old? Maybe. But I think that's part of the fun of it. I'm hoping that as I DIG DUG prints each week, readers will keep wondering when in the world will Dug get that ridiculous costume off? Truthfully, I still don't know.As far as Dug's age. Well...he's a senior in college, so that puts him at 22?...23? It's one of those scenarios where the characters just never age. Kind of like Charlie Brown and the gang. Or Garfield. Or Jason Fox from Fox Trot. My characters are never aging college seniors. Should there ever be the day where I DIG DUG gets picked up for syndication and is printed nationally, I'll probably slowly age them, but until then, they'll each turn 23 every single year! Man...if only it were that easy...
