Since I've devoted the month of August to printing some of my student's comic strips in the paper, I've decided to post some old I DIG DUG comics here on the blog. This is one of my all time favorites featuring Dug and Matt being transformed into Cubist characters. If memory serves me correctly, I was reading a bit about Picasso and Cubism at the time that I created this...hence the 'inspiration' for drawing the characters in a cubist style. This comic was the second I DIG DUG comic featured in The Hometown Connection, seeing print in March of '06. Have a great weekend!!! Try to enjoy these few remaining weeks of summer break!!! I DIG DUG REWIND
