I went rounds with deciding which super heroes Matt and Carrie would be dressed up as for this installment of the 2007 Halloween comics. My initial thought was to put Matt in a Superman costume, but that didn't work for a few reasons. First off...Matt has blonde hair, and secondly I didn't want anyone confusing him with my Not-So-Super-Man character that I've created and used from time to time. I then thought about using Spider Man, but I wanted to stick with DC Comics characters since I personally enjoy DC over Marvel. So, I opted for the Flash. I'll explain how I came to that decision when I post the color version of this comic tomorrow.
Carrie on the other hand was always going to be Wonder Woman. Catwoman was a close second, but I needed something that would add some humor to the story, and Carrie being 'bullied' to try on the skimpy Wonder Woman costume seemed somewhat humorous to me. I use the term 'bulllied' loosely, as we don't really see her being bullied, but we get the effect that Matt and Dug really want her to try the costume on.
Finally, I chose Wonder Woman because I knew where this story was heading, and...trust me...you won't be disappointed. Well...you might be, but you'll sure get a good laugh out of it!!!
