"Ski With Me"

I love to ski. The first time I skied, I was probably around ten years old. My parents took me to some really cool resort with their friends in Pennsylvania. Well...it might have been West Virginia. I dunno...I can't recall. Anyhoo, I hadn't skied again until about 2 years ago when I went to Mad River Mountain with the 6th grade Ski/Snowboard club. I spent a lot of time on my bum coming down the 'learner hills' until a few of the sixth graders took pity on me and actually retaught me how to ski (Thanks, Kasey, Marissa, and Abby!!!). Of course they did have their share of fun convincing me I could ski through the tree park, and go down the black diamond hills even though I hadn't quite mastered slowing down and stopping. Oh well...I survived and I've loved skiing ever since, and it's what has inspired this week's I DIG DUG comic featured in Marysville's Hometown Connection newspaper.
