Skiing is just like swimming except you have a lot more clothes on and big long skis attached to the bottom of your feet. And you're not in water. But you're gliding on stuff that's the solid equivalent of water. Well...is snow a solid? It can't be a liquid can it? That wouldn't make sense..so yeah...it's the solid equivalent of water. So see...swimming and skiing are practically the same thing just a little different.
