I just realized that I should have changed the writing in this strip. Why? It'll make sense in late May when the strip that is supposed to be before this one sees print. Basically the line "I knew the zipper to my costume was broken" implies that the characters have had a conversation about that zipper being broken. Which they haven't. Well...they have, but since I changed the printing order, they technically haven't. Well...you'll just have to pretend that they did have that conversation 'off panel'. That is, right before you 'entered' the room to see this conversation. Confused? Of course you are! I'm good at that!In May, you can look forward to more antics of Dug stuck in the lavender bunny costume, including celebrating his birthday, and writing his senior thesis. Also, look forward to the return of "Not-So-Super-Man" (and the debut of "SuperAshtyn". Well...it's kind of a debut. She doesn't speak but she has a great big "I can't believe I'm actually in a comic" smile on her face!) More on all of this in the weeks to come!

What I meant was that a LONG time ago I asked you to write and draw a comic for me and that I would have it printed in the paper for you. You had said you didn't know what to write about. SOOOO...I figured this might be the inspiration you need to finally get it started!
And...yes...you don't have any speaking lines. YET!
And...no...you don't rescue Dug from the bunny costume. But that would have been funny...
