So, the creating of a Mii is pretty cool. There are literally tons of options. Face shape, eye color, eye shape, hair shape and color, nose shape, etc., etc. It's really cool. The examples you see in this comic are...well...almost Carrie and I's real Nintendo Miis. Carrie's is actually sporting glasses since she does tend to wear her glasses more than her contacts nowadays. But...I can't go having Carrie's Mii wear glasses in the comic, when her character doesn't either. SO...I improvised a bit. As I was doing this comic, I came up with the punchline to next week's comic. And I'm in full Wii mode. I'm working on two more comics tonight, TRUE STORIES in fact, inspired by the Weller Family Nintendo Wii.
I DIG DUG is an insanely hilarious comic created by the insanenly hilarious Douglas Weller. I DIG DUG first saw print in "Tne Lantern", The Ohio State University daily newspaper, from 1999-2001. IDD also saw print in "The Hometown Connection", Marysville, Ohio's weekly newspaper from 2006-2009. Currently, IDD is on hiatus while I concentrate on "Lost on Earth" which I'm designing as a web-comic. Syndication, action figures, cartoons, and a live action movie deal can't be too far behind.
